All 2013 foals will be weaned at four months old.  A non refundable deposit of $500 will hold foal of your choice until weaned with the remaining balance to be paid in full upon pickup.  Foals will be handled daily and we will work on haltering, leading, grooming, picking up feet and trailer loading while in our care.

APHA Black Tobiano Gelding - 15 Hands Tall
Inkspot By Whitman AKA Romeo

Inkspot By Whitman or Romeo as we call him is a 1997 black tobiano gelding. He stands at 15+ hands tall. He is great with the farrier and stands tied all day long. He is easy to groom, bathe, lead, load in trailer, worm, give shots, pick up feet, and all around care for. He is up to date on vaccinations, wormer and feet trimming. He is an easy keeper and stays fat on air. He is a push button horse which means he is very well trained and very responsive. He was the captain's horse in the Angelina and then Nacogdoches County Mounted Patrol Units. He has performed in many arenas and rodeos and won multiple awards. He has done everything from parking lot patrol, standing flag and was trained for precision drills. He also helped train the all female Dixie Belles Drill Team in Crockett Texas. Since we have owned him we have used him for pleasure/trail riding through the Davy Crockett forest where we live. He can go all day long and has tons of go and I think he would make an awesome endurance prospect. We just don't have time to ride him and we hate to see him as a pasture ornament when he is trained so well and would make someone else happy. We currently have him at our trainers facility in Madisonville, TX but will be coming home Tuesday to Kennard, TX. Photos of Romeo are current but you'll have to look past the thick, dirty fur coat. Just been too cold to give him a bath.

Aniemotion D AKA Annie is a 2008 Dun Tobiano mare. I purchased Annie for my riding horse and school horse when I was pursuing an equine degree. I decided not to continue with the degree and our business has expanded and I just do not have time for her. She has lots of trail experience and has been on some pretty large ones such as the Sam Houston trail ride from north Houston to the Houston Rodeo. She also has quite a bit of arena work. She neck reins and moves off leg pressure very well, does roll backs, slide stops, spins, picks up leads, is patterned at the trot and has been ridden with hackamore, halter/lead and ring snaffle. She has a light mouth and doesn't need much pressure to respond. She stands tied for grooming, saddling, clipping and bathing. She is up to date with worming, vaccinations and farrier. She is an easy keeper and fattens up well on pasture in the summer. Her papers are packed full of greats! Her sire is Smart Highbrow Doc, her grandsire is Color Me Smart and her great grandsires are Smart Little Lena and Highbrow Hickory. On her dam's side her grandsire is Velvet Quixote and her great grandsires are Doc Quixote and Zan Parr Express. She is bred for cutting/reining. She was patterned on barrels for 30 days and went to Santa Fe for 30 days of training and pushed some cattle.

Chestnut Tovero Mare - 14.1 Hands Tall

9 year old chestnut tovero paint mare with beautiful long tail that sweeps the floor and long mane. Very feminine mare that has nice movement. She was broke to ride the fall of 2011 and ridden 4-5 months and then took off to have her foal. She has been ridden a few times since then. She will need some work to get her back into riding but I don't think much. She has never reared, bucked, kicked or tried to bite. She is not spooky. She is up to date on all vaccinations, worming and hoof trimming. Stands good for farrier. She doesn't like bit jerked on and moves off slight pressure so a soft hand is good. She flexes and  is learning to move off leg pressure and to neck rein.
